It started with a simple observation: African freelancers are incredibly talented but often excluded from the global market due to payment barriers and trust issues.
Founded in Cameroon, AfriqGig was built to solve this. We integrated local payment methods like Mobile Money and built a rigorous verification system to create a platform that feels like home, but works like a global enterprise.

A Note From Our Founder
I built AfriqGig because I believe guaranteeing young people real, dignified work is one of the most powerful things we can do for our communities — especially here in Africa, where too many young people are pushed toward fraud, crime, or exploitation simply because opportunity is scarce and the loudest voices around them offer nothing better.
My faith is the reason I started this. I believe using whatever we've been given to lift others up is one of the clearest ways to serve God, and AfriqGig is my attempt to do exactly that — not just to connect clients and freelancers, but to build a community where people can work, earn, learn, and grow together, surrounded by encouragement instead of negativity.
